What does “boutique” concept mean? Boutique concept has emerged first in hotel industry when small hotels decided to differentiate themselves from big hotels through a trendy and customized service.
At EIC we were inspired by this concept and we deliberately opted to be a small higher education institution. Dr. Rafika Ben Guirat is an Associate Professor holding a PHD in Management/Marketing from IAE de France (Instituts d’Administration et d’Entreprises), Universite Rennes I with 20 years experience of teaching and supervising thesis in reputable universities between UAE, France and Tunisia.
Dr. Rafika Ben Guirat has held multiple positions IE & QA Director, MBA/BBA Programs Director to Business development and Marketing intelligence Director as well Executive Member in different Committees Accreditation, Assurance of Learning, Partnerships, MBA and Ph.D. She has many areas of expertise such as Institutional effectiveness, Assurance of learning, developing new programs and creating Industries’ partnerships.
Dr. Rafika Ben Guirat is a confirmed reviewer in the editorial team of Independent Journal of Management & Production researches As a researcher, she has many interests in Gender ideologies with being the author of the only and first Measurement Scale of gender ideologies for Arab women, with parallel interest in analysis methods via Partial least square PLS and AMOS in Neuro-Marketing, Marketing and scents, with various publications in books “ Global Consumer behavior” and journals with impact factor. Publications range from "Gender studies" to “Impact of Neuro-marketing on consumers emotional responses” .
Dr. Rafika Ben Guirat is also consultant & Mentor in Business/ Marketing for different Organizations in UAE, France, Italy and Tunisia in different fields as Education, Oil and Gas and Foods’ Industries. She is very active in Gender studies and projects, innovation and entrepreneurship by contributing as a volunteer in different well-known organizations: Mentor in Womena, Member of ArabWomen Council, Member of AmCham Abu Dhabi, Member of Women in Business, volunteer for different associations of special needs.
